SHR - IPL
What is SHR?
How does SHR work?
Is SHR suitable for all skin and hair types?
Is there any pain?
How many treatments are needed?
SHR stands for Super Hair Removal. This is the most advanced way of ridding yourself of unwanted hair. SHR is faster than traditional IPL and laser techniques. It is also safer and less painful in comparison.
SHR is nothing short of revolutionary. Rather than high amounts of Joules (energy) being thrown at your skin, SHR opts for a multiple shots at low joules technique. The hair follicle is gently heated meaning all you will feel is a slight warmth and perhaps a tingling sensation. Some clients compare SHR to a warm massage. SHR also utilises In-Motion technolgy, this means that the handpiece is constantly in motion on the skin.
SHR is suitable for all skin types, even tanners! It is also suitable for hair types including the lightest white. This is possible due to the technology and techniques used. Unlike traditional laser and IPL, SHR is able to be used all year round without having to hide from the sun.
No pain at all! This is achieved by SHR technology and In-Motion techniques.
To fully treat the area needed you may require 6-10 treatments at four week intervals. A four week regime is important to maintain so that the SHR treatments get the hairf at its four week re-growth. Near the end of the treatment, 6-8 week intervals will be needed to finish off your course.
